My experience at this well priced hotel was real good. The staff were VERY FRIENDLY and competent, no complaints. Its location was comfy and easy conveniently close to MRT. What's more, it was close to the attraction.

Brand-new and a nice size room with complimentary wireless internet and a new carpet ; and with modern decor. Handy and peaceful location, to an MRT. Also - really close to restaurants as well as one stop from chiang kai shek memorial.

It's a well priced and comfortable modern hotel in the very nice boutique building. The staff is genuinely helpful, makes sure that the place is overall clean. Breads, buns, and eggs for breakfast are a plus. Its location near CKS memorial where there are excellent breakfast vendors to be found is comfy. The place provides reasonable prices.

The food was appetising - I thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms were luxury and adequate and equipped with the bath tub, comfortable bed, bathroom. The hotel had a marvellous location near a subway stop.

We booked compact and functional room with a bathtub, classic music from the broadcast plus comfy sheets. Extra facilities such as an electric kettle and a refrigerator were really useful.

The positives include comfortable and handy location and parking onsite. The breakfast includes tasty food, such as fresh bread, baked buns and eggs.

Location: the hotel was close enough to Close to the MRT station and convenience stores and a drugstore. Dessert restaurant Smoothie House was located 10 minutes walk away. Stayed in compact superior queen room with nice mattress, comfy sheets plus the bath tub.

The location was strategic, close to shopping district, other metro lines and the MRT station and convenient location and easily accessible. Furthermore, easy to reach with public transport. We took a superior double room and it had free Wi-Fi and a new carpet.

Hotel rates are low, but the rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. If you are looking for value for money then this hotel should be taken into consideration.

Location is ok, but taxi is needed to get around (no underground nearby). However, taxi fares are low (around eur 3 to Taipei 101).

Quite cozy and enjoyed the breakfast.

Buttons for tv didn't not work and it's not near mtr stations. I cannot change to 2 twin bed option. They said this considered an upgrade option. In usa, changing from Queen size bed to 2 Twin sized bed is an downgrade. Hmm...

Excellent value for money and great location near the Dongmen MRT station. The room was surprisingly spacious and had a window with a beautiful sunrise view. The front desk staff were courteous and informative. The breakfast was decent and had a good variety of Taiwanese and Western dishes. Despite a slight cigarette smoke odor in the bathroom, it didn't detract from the overall positive experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for a simple and affordable stay in Taipei. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Citizen Hotel.

The staff is polite & helpful.

It's kind of a "love motel" with hourly stay and free porn channels. And the air conditioning is too cold but not adjustable.

The location in a beautiful area was great and perfect and there were a market and a pharmacy nearby. The staff was welcoming, provided a very quick check-in and a late check-out. The room was big and with nice mattress.

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the room cleaners. The breakfast was very good, with a variety of options. The rooms were nicely renovated and comfortable.

The access cards provided were not sufficient for our needs. We asked for more access cards, but it was declined.
